The editor of a kinky fashion magazine Bizarr hopes to revive its sales and so sends her models and a photographer for a shoot at a castle in Italy that has a history in torture and Nazi experiments. The owner of the castle and his strange mother have an interest in the paranormal – not much else interesting about them other than the old lady’s choice of wigs, and what she did to her son years back.
Bloody Sin has needless diversions like a Nazi angle, strange cartoons that pop up inappropriately and sometimes disappointingly, in place of potentially violent scenes. A lot of director Domiziano Cristopharo’s strengths in gore and torture get wasted down these diversions, but when he does turn up, it’s mostly worth the wait. There’s also Italian pornstar Roberta Gemma in a non-porn role, if that’s of any interest.

Domiziano Cristopharo is one of my favorite directors, he is the king of erotic italian horror. Loved ”Red Krokodil” (on this site). My pick would be ”House of flesh mannequins” among others too numerous to mention. Have not seen ”Bloody Sin” yet but will soon. Cheers! By the way, you guys at EUM, the last three films added here have been Be My Cat, Bennys Video, and Basket Case, all starting with B, have you gone all alphabetical all of a sudden?
