Plot – Spoilers:
A hitchhiker is picked up and held in captivity for days on end, during which she is tortured and broken. When her captor is not torturing her, he is busy jerking off to images of crucified women and improving his elaborate plans to create the perfect submissive slave.
Breaking Her Will steers clear of the explicit, in the sense that a lot of the actual action isn’t shown. Instead, it’s left to your imagination to visualize what’s happening. But it’s fairly effective at this despite the low budget production and equivalent acting.
Now about that.. A more likely Paschal egg.. Via Crucis and all..
Wow, what can I say? I really enjoyed this movie. It’s definitely one of my all-time favorites. In the beginning, he tries to break down the slave girl’s mind to make her submissive. She naturally rebels a little, but after many days, she’s eventually turned into his perfect image of what a robot-like woman should be. I like the part where he’s feeding her oats and talks about how a prisoner who’s been starved for weeks will eat a cockroach and enjoy it like a steak. That’s very true and profound. The main woman in this movie is cute and bootylicious. You can’t help but feel sorry for her, but seriously, she has a great slim-thick body and such an amazing ass! The main man in the film did an amazing job of coming across as vicious, full of hate, and a master of deception and mind games. But later you realize he’s actually a hurt little boy on the inside. His trauma with women ends up manifesting into this God complex he has, and he sees women like Jesus Christ to be crucified. By the end of the movie, I really felt sorry for him because he’s also a victim, just like the two women are. His emotional breakdown over what happened to his ex-girlfriend is very powerful and saddening!
