Plot – Spoilers:
Claudia works in a call-center and hates her job. She dreams of getting out of her drab Guatemalan town, but only if she can leave with her friend Maria. Maria is a musician and way more social with lots of friends. And though Claudia is the one with a regular salary, she feels older while around Maria and unsure if she can retain her interest.
While out one night having fun, the girls are sexually assaulted. Claudia is intimidated by the experience and only makes a halfhearted attempt at lodging a complaint, but Maria wants more. She’s also emboldened by a gun her mother got recently…
Sadly 5 minutes of excitement is no compensation for 90 minutes of complete boredom.

This is the problem with making your “identity” your personality. Sound balance sucks so the music and speaking are nearly the same level, slow moving, has a self important director at the beginning because watching the film you wouldn’t know what it’s about apparently. There’s a better movie on this site about the same situation. Can’t think of the name but it’s about 2 gay chick’s who get assaulted by their landlord’s son. Go watch that. This is a waste of your bandwidth.

Finally – a cure for insomnia. From the description I was thinking it was going to be like a Death Wish/revenge type movie. It’s not. Totally did not work for me – the acting, the script, the performances. 1 out of 5. An hour and a half of my life flushed down the toilet forever.
