Pola X – TV Cut (2001)

Option 1Can't Watch?

Wait 30secs. Movie still not playing? Click the "Can't Watch?" tab.

If the movie didn't load, it means you are being blocked by a security service we use. This can happen for a number of reasons.

Click this first

A new tab will open and a basic security check like a captcha will be performed. After completing the check, close that page and return here.

Refresh this page. Wait 10 secs. The movie should load and you can just hit play.

If it still doesn't play, Click here to watch the movie

The movie should now start playing in a new tab of your browser or begin downloading to your device.

If you're still having problems, try using 'Incognito mode' in your browser. On iPhones, especially older ones, use Chrome instead of Safari. Might help.

IMPORTANT: Please make sure that the newly opened tab is not an ad popup asking you to download some software or whatever. Close any such popups and don't download any software - those are ads. Nothing is needed to be done by you other than to complete the security check which is often automated.

This last option has the minor disadvantage that English-language movies with optional subtitles in the movie player will not include these subs.

About (Includes massive spoilers):
A TV cut of Pola X, released in 2001.

Divided into three episodes and running nearly 40 minutes longer, this is more surreal and includes more of Pierre’s dreams and delusions. But as often happens with cuts that are not censorship-related, despite the increased duration, there are little scenes missing here compared to the original. This cut begins with a surreal conversation between Pierre and his mother that right away informs you, you’re probably better off watching the original release first before getting into this one. This is also a VHS-rip and poorer in quality.

Other differences include subtle changes in the narrative through different dialogue – like when Pierre goes into the tunnel to meet Isabelle. With regard to nudity, there is one extra scene of Isabelle showering visibly through a glazed reflection that may suggest it’s fantasy.

If you found the original sad, this will make you sadder.

Seems to be worth watching. I just regret the movie’s extracted from an old VHS reformated into digital. The video quality is terrible and doesn’t seem to reach even 360. Nonetheless the movie seems good. I hoped there would be more nudity, but sadly it’s not the case.

You’re first at being a sour puss asshole. Top 100 soon. Maybe even top 250. Cry to the administrator about it like you did on “Pola X.”
