The Traces of Death series from the ’90s was an attempt to outdo Faces of Death that had included staged scenes.
But the first one in the series lacked its famous predecessor’s budget and this shows up in the lower production and crappy music. What’s better here though is the authenticity – barring the lion-mauling scene.
Traces of Death 1 includes accidents, autopsies, surgeries including gender-reassignment, embalming and some notorious incidents like the press-conference suicide of Robert Budd Dwyer.
Most of this was easy to watch, aside from the scene where they turned the guy into a tranny, that scene physically hurt my dick to watch
FOD has better production. A few good scenes in this one. 2 stars.
