Plot – Spoilers:
Jennifer is getting ready to move to a new place with son and boyfriend. The boyfriend leaves the moving-out hassles to her and goes on a business trip. Jennifer’s neighbors aren’t her friends and she has a couple of weird experiences including a postman who takes a shit all over her toilet. Then things get weirder as her son goes missing and Jennifer wakes up naked in a strange place where severed limbs from brutal tortures lie scattered.
Regarding the gore: Jennifer spends most of the movie naked and drenched in gore. Added attractions include the mutilation of a cock with a pair of scissors and a woman’s face battered out of existence, if that’s your thing.
From a film making viewpoint i.e. production, cinematography, special effects, etc. it’s fantastic. As far as the acting and the plot, it is a bit overacted by Irene Holzfurtner as Jennifer and the plot goes sideways later on. First I thought she drowned in the bathtub and had to go through purgatory. Was she the loving wife and mom or a drug addict bank robbing murderer? It seems that this movie was made to show off the movie maker’s ability to create gore and blood and guts but the script seems to have been an after thought with “No Reason.” I’m not in to gore for gore’s sake so I’m going to go straight up the middle with this one and give it just a cunt hair over 2 and a half stars.

This turned out to be shockingly watchable. I thought I was signing up for some cheap bottom dredging but it actually had a pretty cool story in the end.
Crazy weird sick movie
Very disturbed movie
The opening credits make you wonder if you’ve been rickrolled into watching a daytime movie and it carries on being a bit of a slow burn. It ends up watchable but not sure I’d come back for seconds. Poor leading actor in this must’ve caught hypothermia at least twice, not sure she wore anything ever throughout. Though if she is close to the character’s age of 45 I’d be parading around too! 🙂
