Ricky, who watched his elder brother being shot dead at the end of Silent Night, Deadly Night, is now all grown up and in a mental institution. Mostly because he often finds things people do, naughty. But there’s still the naughtiest of them all, Mother Superior, left to hunt down.
This is effectively a 1-hour movie when you consider about half-an-hour of flashbacks from the first part.
The first 40 minutes is flashbacks from the first movie. It’s still pretty good because Ricky is funny AF. 2 and a half stars.
Ok, I get the first incident, maybe his brother told him, and all the stuff happened in the orphanage, but how does He know all the part where he wasn’t there? His brother’s job, the way he killed everybody, what did the couple in the basement said, also the daddy playing Santa?
Mother Superior doesn’t know jack shit, Healthy environment–nothing, guy never learned to speak well; *moronic “NAUGHTIY”*. This autistic schizoid script and the sarcastic-sounding condescension on this act was funny. As being a second movie: it would’ve been much better if he was a self-taught-intellectual madman bookmaggot never getting caught, growing old, and instead teaching a kid the ways of a villain. Last 30 minutes it the only reason the movie gets a solid 3/10 in il nombri di revenge e il espiriti non’santi.
As stated in the EUM summary, approximately 1/3 of this film is footage from the first film. Taking the 80s approach of rushing out a sequel if your original film does well, or becomes notorious, to the extreme, That said, in true 80s style they did show all the kills and boobs from the first film. However, this film does nothing original and just essentially repeats the first film. A step down from SNDN 1. 1.5/5 umbrellas.
The definition of “so bad, it’s good”
That lead actor mastered the secret (acting?) technique of what i would call RAPID EYEBROW MOVEMENT. It´s a mystical power that allows one mans eyebrows to move entirely on their own without help from the rest of the body or brain. Very fascinating! 😀
