Country: USA; Effed Up American Movies
Language: English (Optional Eng Subs)

Genres: Based on a True Story, Serial Killers
Plot – Spoilers:
A slick guy banging his wife’s cousin in his car is watched by Berkowitz who later shoots another couple parked behind, leaving the guy with his dick hanging out in constant dread of being a marked man.
While this is a film based on serial killer, David Berkowitz, there’s a reason it’s called Summer of Sam and not Son of Sam, as it’s more a neighborhood story about the guy above and his friends, with Berkowitz as the killer stalking the community.
Spike Lee’s strengths which often lie in capturing neighborhood lives and chatter is a bit off-key here as the film drags at times focusing on the sex lives of characters that are hard to give a shit about.
Random Trivia:
At the time of its release, Summer of Sam topped the charts for number of times “fuck” appeared in a movie. It has since dropped to position 6.
Better than I remember.
It’s sassy and sexy and absolutely nowhere near the truth… DB killed 6 but a good watch and greatctunes
Something wrong with this. The original movie had Mungo Jerry/In The Summertime playing over the part where you met the dumbass wops, changed the whole mood. Am I going to be assassinated now? Because I sure hope the fuckers try.

If it were about something else or i mean had nothing to do with Son of sam, was just a story of its own i think id have enjoyed it more, i watched expecting certain things & it was just different than i figured it would be, thats not to say it was a bad movie, i had a preconceived notion about it before i went in so that falls on me, plus it does linger on in parts & i found it a little hard to keep track, again probably my fault & inability to keep concentration, but all over not a terrible movie & if you like Spike Lee, youll like it well enough, enjoy
Hey Tamir can i suck the curry outta your little Pakistani prick & observe you taking a shit after a vindaloo or whatever you fucks eat?
