Marianne Faithfull plays an ageing granny, Maggie, who wanks off men with her soft palms that earn her a certain stature in Soho, England. But there’s a noble cause attached to it. She’s doing it to pay for the treatment of her grandson.
Marianne gives her role as much dignity as a storyline like that allows. And while the movie isn’t explicit – resorting to props like Maggie’s coffee flask to block out the offending cock – her hand movements with the deftness of a conductor, picturize plenty.
