Plot – Spoilers:
This is the fourth in the All Night Long series, though with no subs available, it’s a little unclear what exactly is going on. But it appears that Yuuki, a young, endearing Japanese man is experimenting with body modification. His initial trial-runs are on fish and rats. Pleased with the results, he moves to women.

Yuuki also appears to be programming himself a virtual fantasy world into which he often slips, sometimes unintentionally. His first (known) victim is Reika, a pornstar with her own website where she offers typical fanclub stuff. Through one such video, Yuuki is able to figure out her address. He pays her a visit and wins her warm heart, all for himself.

The second girl that Yuuki sets eyes on seems to be a call girl he intends to keep a little longer for himself. Of course, while modifying her to his taste – when a couple of boobs are not aesthetically positioned, you add a third for triangular symmetry. And an extra ear nearby, to hear their appreciative applause.

There’s also a bully who constantly threatens Yuuki for some reason and he too will soon come into the mix.

That’s fine. Not sure if there has ever been a release on DVD with English subs.

Noice!! THANKS A TON for adding another of my requests admins;) Always humbling u do that here.

I figured that since this film was gonna b straight off the boat (since I could barely find anything online about it) that subs might b a bitch to find. I’m gonna try to find some translator to download, or a script, before I watch it tho. Either way thanks again admins, truly an epic series of movies, hopefully the latter 3 r as good as the former 3. Excited af to view it, esp based on ur summary;)

I really LOVE this series!! It’s like most film series start to go downhill rapidly, but these just keep pushing the envelope farther. Even tho some aspects r lost, the overall derangement and effedup-ness keeps growing as this series progresses.

So I tried a translator app using my phone, but it seemed to be not making coherent sense a lot of the time, so I only tried using it for the first half of the film. What it did ‘seem’ to translate tho:

In the beginning, our protagonist tells the fish it’s special/perfect; when he is talking to the other guy outside shortly after, he tells him something along the lines of ‘my father was a pharmacist’ and ‘ill do it alone’ and something about being familiar w medicine and not being able to write his father?; The first girl in the video said it’s her birthday; and lastly, when they show the news story on tv after she is murdered, the news anchor said her brother had found her at 8 the next morning when he returned home. Dunno if any of that is right, but it made sense at least I suppose.

Even without subs, I loved this film, and it was still very entertaining. I really enjoyed the Lynchian surreal hallucinatory scenes, esp the latter ones of him imagining being happy and ‘saving’ his second victim. The only thing that made absolute zero sense to me was the recorder messages in the drawer, as well as his messages online. Maybe these might have been more things he was imagining, his subconscious communicating to him and his broken mind?? Just a wild theory of mine, could’ve been anything tho. I might try to find a text translator app and investigate this farther, as they would have to be more accurate than the speech ones, at least I would hope. Will keep u posted…

I feel weird trying to rate a film I didn’t know most of the dialogue to, but the acting seemed fine, the sfx tho limited were pretty damn good imo, especially in regards to the third breast (reminded me of Total Recall), and even tho it was obv low-budget, the scenes conveyed there was a quite a bit going on, esp in regards to the aforementioned cpu messages and recordings, and also with his psyche and imagination. Both might’ve related possibly too. For pure viewing enjoyment tho with having understood almost none of the dialogue, except for what I listed which hopefully is kinda right, I’ll give it a loose 8/10. Good stuff. R.I.P angelfish tho:/ Thanks again admins!

U know, after watching basically almost every giallo ever made (literally), I can kinda hack my way thru understanding a bit of Italian when I hear it. Too bad Japanese isn’t like that, lol;)

Out of interest what translator app did you use? There are a few foreign films I can’t find with English subs but am desperate to watch. I know you said the translation didn’t seem to be making coherent sense but I’m willing to try anything.

My bad for not seeing ur ? till now, the app I had used was called ‘Speak and Translate’ for Android. It was free thru the play store. I had tried one other app but it was trash. It seems like this one tho might b better for other languages, as it’s got a ton of different ones to select from, and I read a lot of voice translator apps for Japanese are somewhat poor due to the complexity of their language apparently?

        Anyway, hope that helps:)

Thank you so much! Will have a look later. I’ve tried two apps already and both require premium subscriptions (pain in the ass). Because the films I want to watch are French the translation should hopefully be alright seeing as it’s much more straightforward than Japanese. Besides I know a little bit of the language already. Thanks again!

    I usually don’t comment but I thought I will
I’ve probably watched this movie at least 10 times since you guys posted it
I’m not too fond of gore/horror movies but this one was just magic. For someone like me =)
-the early 2000s setting, the body modifications, the setting,… wow

Except the dude towards the end who should of escaped before but it’s just a movie

The only thing I least liked was the fact the guy was good looking, IMO

A horror movie for me is like this one. Especially all the modified bodies which Is way scarier than gore

    Overall thanks so much
