Plot – Spoilers:
The sequel to Wolf Creek focuses on three tourists and killer Mick Taylor’s distaste for them shitting in his backyard.
After Mick’s done with a couple of cops, he moves to a shallow couple that insist on reiterating aloud that the spots they hang around are amazing, heavenly and awesome.
Barring an entertaining quiz game with a third tourist, the victims do their best to repel your sympathy with their stupidity and gutlessness. And even though Mick is often ridiculously able to appear out of thin air wherever they hide, you don’t feel like arguing with the writers of the film on their behalf.
Thx for this EUM guys. Been looking forward to watching this. Will watch the first one again before I tackle this one. Classic Aussie cinema.

He’s a man of word, after all.
It’s Don Bradmen, bitch
I really enjoyed Wolf Creek and was excited to see the sequel due to it having even better reviews than the first one but I was kinda disappointed due to the change in tone. The best part about the first film by far was the tense and at times disorienting atmosphere that made you dread that the victims woudn’t be able to escape and the overall gritty aesthetic that’s common with horror movies released in the early 2000’s. Wolf Creek 2 had none of that. At certain points it seemed like I was watching an over-the-top brainless action flick riddled with exaggerated car chases rather than a horror movie which was a real downgrade from the effortlessly scary ambience of the first movie. The killer being able to constantly get away despite the messy murder scenes, his killing of two cops at the start of the movie (really dumb move that should have been detrimental to him if the movie were a little more realistic) and the fact that he constantly let his victims run away (which could have resulted in them being able to get help or at least get too far for him to chase them back) only to find them and capture them again was also really irksome. I know some serial killers manage to get away with killing for a very long time in real life but I really don’t think our guy Mick is bright enough to manage killing that many people without getting caught. Overall I felt like the sequel let Mick get away with too much without giving feasible reason as to why besides hyping him up as an unstoppable killing machine without anything to back up that hype.
Thanks for the movie. I liked the first one, but this one was really irksome for some reason. It was a bit unrealistic. The cereal killer was too ”pro” hahaha killing that many people and never leaving any trace? Hell fucking no.
I knew it wasn’t going to be good the very moment he killed those cops at the beginning.
